I need an opinion on this because basically everyone is on her side, long story short my father passed away last year before he did he had promised to leave me the house he and my mother bought as repayment for essentially stealing my trust fund from my mothers wrongful death suit but 5 months before fe passed from cancer he sold it to my step mother and left everything else to her as well including a lawsuit for his wrongful death from mesothelioma which was 1.4 million after lawyer fees . My step mother promised to buy me a truck and help me get back in my feet (my land lord defrauded me and I ended up homeless ) once she received the award money after I signed a waiver for her to get it $846,545 for the first check I signed then she ghosted I stopped over to the house to talk to her about it and found out she was on a cruise 2nd one I know of since he passed away . This is where I learn she bought my half brother a 80k car my step brother a house I was upset but didn’t say anything just quietly left . I got another waiver for a second check and this time it’s like 760k and when I go to talk to her about the truck she tells me I’ll half to wait till she gets this check because she put 80% into a retirement account I ask why she didn’t follow three with her word as she told me we would go as soon as she got the check and my half brother who lives with her went off about how they have been good to me and how I’m a scumbag screaming in my face so I walked out but not before stating that she had broke her promise to me and that I didn’t feel comfortable handing another 760k over especially because they excluded me for Xmas and thanksgiving and were not in fact being good to me I told her she was right there and helped my father steal my trust fund which they used to pay off a federal tax lien on the house so they didn’t loose it and she needed to pay me back because they had no right to make me pay for their taxes (the also got $769 from the state for me that they definitely didn’t spend on me I practically lived at my aunt and uncles house and they went on cruises and got luxury items for themselves and my half brother all the time ) now everyone in my family is acting like I’m the bad guy while they all have new cars houses and other lavish gifts and I’m supposed to trust the woman who bought they stuff while I was homeless in winter everyone is telling me I’m a piece of s*** and I should just sign the money over and be the bigger person but the thing is this money isn’t part of the estate it’s separate which is why I half to sign it over I’m going to court and telling them what has happened and I’ll let them decide I feel like I don’t have a family anymore none of them cared I was living in a broken down truck in winter and none of them had my back so am I wrong to contest this in court ? Am I the ah ? I should also mention I was the one who got my father to file the lawsuit and did so on my stepmothers behalf so she didn’t half to waitress for another 20 years had I not said this to him in front of the family he wouldn’t have filed and there would be no money so it’s a little messed up she knows this and still is trying to screw me over at least that’s how I feel idk
