Here’s the history, I am friends with the Bride and her younger brother. I would say we are decently close. I am the only one of my friends from our hometown that I know of that got invited to this wedding and Memorial Day Weekend is a weekend where I always have friends visit and get to regroup with old friends. The Bride has always been like a big sister figure to me and I think she would be hurt if I didn’t attend. But MDW is one of the few weekends of the year to spend time with childhood friends. I don’t really have a valid reason besides that to no go to the wedding. AITA if I don’t go?
