So, I'm a part of this friend group that consists of primarily three girls, and three guys. (I say I'm a part of this friend group, but truly I'm just the person who pops up in 2/3 of the group meet ups. I'm not as close nor as committed to this group as the others are...) Anyways, two of the girls, Sara and Khloe, are dating Asher and Grant respectively. I would say I'm closest to Asher and Grant, friend-wise, and though they're great friends, they're terrible boyfriends.
The two boys are wishy-washy when it comes to hanging out with them, reject affection until it benefits them, and frankly care more about action figures than their girlfriends.
So, it came as no surprise when I stumbled upon the girls' secret accounts, talking about how their relationships sucked and how much they yearned for that 'first month feeling', the 'honeymoon stage' of their relationship.
Their accounts weren't very well hidden, the third girl, Alice, had tagged Khloe and Sara's accounts in a video and it all just went on from there.
It's been about a month since I found out, and for a while I've just kept my mouth shut, tried to wait it out to see if they would break up, reconcile, if their relationships would get any better... But no. I feel like it's gone too far, and frankly if I were the guys I'd feel like I'd want to know if my girlfriend was feeling this way.
I'm thinking of telling them, in private, just so they can get their shit together because if their girlfriends are posting about thinking of breaking up..? I'd think it's nearing the end for their relationships.
But, I don't know. What if showing them makes it all worse? There are some pretty hurtful things on their accounts, and honestly I don't want that whole friend group to blow up because of this.
So, I'm asking you, reddit. what should I do? WIBTA if I told my friends? Would I not? need answers asap, please 😔
Please wait...
