Throwaway account because.. I 24nb have been with this guy 24m since we were 18. And as you'd expect we've changed a lot in that time and I think grown apart.

I've been considering breaking up for a lil while but I'm not sure if it's selfish and to complicate things we have 2 cats together and idk who should even get custody. Plus it's pretty hard to find a place that'll take pets in our town. It's hard enough to find a place that'll take a person it seems.

Is it enough that I just don't care to fix the things I think are wrong in our relationship? I feel like we could stick it out and work on stuff but I just don't feel like it's worth it??? Like if I don't like who we are now, why try to completely change that rather than just leave? Does this even make sense? Am I just rambling?
