I am friends with a girl (who I will call Lia), she is a year younger than me but despite her being younger she is taller than me. I am considered short for my age which I hate, it’s one of my biggest insecurities and every time someone mentions it I wish the earth would open up and swallow me whole. Lia is always bringing it up, every conversation she has to lean on my head and make a comment like “this is a nice arm rest” or something to that effect. The first few times it was funny but now it’s just annoying, I’ve told her how much I hate it when she says stuff like that but each time I ask her to stop she does it more and more. So, would I BTAH if I become more ‘aggressive’ when asking her to stop? Not like yelling or being physically but more stern and calling her out on it instead of forcing a laugh and staying silent.
